Quality

We raise certified black Angus cattle and work daily to provide them with the best life we can. Our cattle are raised at our ranch and graze on Owyhee mountain range in the spring/summer. In the fall, they return to the ranch and are fed with the crops we grow on our ranch. They have a rich and varied diet of natural grasses, alfalfa and other forage, along with fresh air and water and hundreds of acres to roam.

All of our cattle are raised without any antibiotics, growth hormones or genetically modified feed. Our cattle are Global Animal Partnership (GAP) Level 4 wellness certified.

Location

On rugged, yet beautiful Owyhee Mountain lands just 70 miles from the Treasure Valley is the location of the Bruce Ranch Beef CSA. The Bruce/Staples family has been raising cattle here since 1944. The ranch is currently operated by the third generation of the Bruce/Staples family.
